Devices ​

An Argonaut device represents physical hardware. This can include anything from a Spearhead to an AGV. When configuring a device in Argonaut, you can select a Device Type, which determines its capabilities.

Argonaut considers a Device to be a peripheral, (touch screen monitor for example), that lives in a plant floor station and provides the operator Automated Work Instructions to instruct how to execute that operation. Argonaut associates the Device with a location and an MES Configuration to define what is displayed to the operator at that specific station.
